About the Webinar:

Lung cancer is responsible for about 1 in 5 cancer deaths, claiming more lives each year than breast, colon, and prostate cancers combined. In this webinar, we'll explore why lung cancer is a leading cause of death in the US and Nebraska and discuss how low-dose CT scans can detect it early to save lives. We'll outline the criteria that define the population who would benefit most from screening and review the key resources NC2 provides to families, patients, and healthcare providers.

Learning Objectives:

  2. Describe how low-dose CT scans can detect lung cancer early and save lives.
  3. Discuss the criteria defining the population that can benefit the most from lung cancer screening.
  4. Review resources NC2 can provide families, patients and providers regarding lung cancer screening.
